Although it is a fact that our range of action is quite wide, R.R. is highly specialized in the Petrochemical and Cement industries. Both industries make periodic shutdowns where R.R. carries out its interventions. We work for the main companies in these sectors who place their trust on us repair after repair.
Petrochemical industry
REVESTIMIENTOS REFRACTARIOS, S.A. frequently performs maintenance at shutdowns of FCC Units, Sulfur Plants, Process Furnaces and special equipment, including the supply of materials, engineering and installation. We work with the main petrochemical groups in Spain (REPSOL and CEPSA).
Highly specialized on FCCU, REVESTIMIENTOS REFRACTARIOS, S.A., carries out turnkey projects for these units at REPSOL and CEPSA plants in Spain, as well as TOTAL in several plants in France, GALP in Portugal, Lukoil in Bulgaria and ASTRON ENERGY in South Africa. In these types of projects, we are capable to perform the following activities:
- Refractory Demolition.
- Wrecking of anchors and hexmetal.
- Grinding of surfaces.
- Installation of hexmetal in all types of areas and subsequently welding with approved procedures.
- Installation and welding of Corner Tabs, Special Tabs, Hex-cells, Radius Tabs, U-Tabs
- Installation and welding of anchors.
- In the required areas, formwork assembly.
- Installation of refractory by handpacking, casting or guniting.
Technical office personnel as well as the fieldwork teams have an experience, in some cases, of over 40 years in the company, being considered by our clients as the most qualified and efficient. We have closely worked with the most prestigious engineering companies worldwide: FOSTER WHEELER, UOP, EXXON, KBR, TÉCNICAS REUNIDAS, TECHNIP, etc. Along with these companies we have completed installations and supplied material national and internationally.
The main national industrial boiler companies also count on us to manufacture new equipment for their national or international projects: DURO FELGUERA, AGUILAR Y SALAS, SCHWARTZ HAUTMONT, MEISA, PROINCAR, KALFRISA, etc.
Cement Industry
The cement industry is another of the pillars on which REVESTIMIENTOS REFRACTARIOS, S.A. has based its development.
Counting on an experience of more than 40 years, and in parallel with the petrochemical industry, we frequently give service to the main cement groups settled in Spain (LAFARGEHOLCIM, GCPV, CEMEX, FYM-HEIDELBERG), both in maintenance shutdowns and in the manufacturing of spare parts and new equipment .
